COVID-19 – Unfortunately, due to current government advice and professional guidelines, I am unable to offer face-to-face counselling for the time being. I can still offer counselling support via either telephone or video call. Please get in touch for more details.
Stressed? Anxious? Confused or angry? Not quite sure how you feel? There are times in life when most of us experience these things.
I work with individuals to try to make sense of and understand why you might feel and experience things in a certain way. In doing this, I aim to provide each client with the opportunity to learn more about themselves. I am particularly interested in how unresolved issues from the past can have an impact in the present, and work collaboratively with each client to explore and resolve these issues.
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy, gained from The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I am also a Registered Counsellor Member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). I have over 5 years’ experience of working with adults, on a broad range of issues and concerns. Weekly sessions can be either short term (6 sessions) or long term basis (more than 12 sessions), depending on individual need. My private practice is based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
I abide by the Code of Ethics of The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I am in regular supervision to meet UKCP requirements and am fully insured.
If you would like more information about counselling or the service I provide, I would be happy to speak with you either on the telephone or respond to any queries via email. My contact details can be found on the ‘Contact’ page or by clicking my business card below.
Fees: £40 per weekly session, initial assessment session free.
